Change is brewing in this great state of ours. In order to meet the workforce demands and intellectual capital expectations of the next generations of Texans, the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board (THECB) has issued a statewide educational goal calling for 60 percent of adults aged 25 to 34 to hold college degrees or certificates by 2030. As a leader in higher education, The University of Texas at Arlington is addressing the challenge head-on.
In partnership with the THECB, UTA kicked off 60x30TX efforts on April 5 with 60x30TX: Access, Success, Texas, the first comprehensive regional gathering of North Texas leaders to discuss how all parties will work together to meet the 60x30TX goals. To keep the conversation fresh, we have compiled resources from the conference, which includes video and notes from lectures, speaker presentations, a summary of event highlights, and more.
