Dr. Daniel W. Engels, Founding Director of the Texas Innovation Center and Associate Professor in the Electrical Engineering Department at the University of Texas at Arlington, is the Program Chair for IEEE RFID 2007. In its inaugural conference, IEEE RFID accepted 32 peer-reviewed papers out of more than 100 paper submissions.
