Dr. Robert Neill received the Piper Award Nomination in 1998.
Dr. Robert L. Neill, Associate Professor of Biology (1970). B.S., Kansas State Teachers College, 1963; M.S., 1968; Ph.D., University of Oklahoma, 1970.
Although trained in physiological plant ecology, Dr. Neill has worked in ornithology for the past ten years. His ornithological interests are changing, and he is currently interested in the effects of 4-aminopyridine on development of birds. He is also studying shore bird migration in North Central Texas. In the future, he hopes to initiate studies on the allelopathic effects of pioneer weed species on crop plants.
