UTA Admissions E-Communications
We offer several electronic newsletters to our prospective students, applicants and their families to easily communicate timely and important information throughout the year. We currently offer the following E-Communications:
E-Newsletter for Parents and Families of Prospective Students
This newsletter is designed to inform parents and families of prospective students about important dates and events that are essential to your child's successful transition to UTA. To subscribe/unsubscribe to this E-Newsletter, please visit the Parent's web page.
Inquiry Card Information Emails
If you have filled out an inquiry card to receive information and have specified that you wish to be contacted primarily via email, you will receive periodic email information regarding upcoming events, important dates and other material regarding your inquiries to UTA. To remove yourself from these mailings, please email us at be_a_maverick@uta.edu with a brief request to be removed from these mailings. Please include your email address in the body of the email.
Online Inquiry Form Emails
If you have signed up via our online inquiry forms, you will receive periodic email information regarding upcoming events, important dates and other material regarding your inquiries to UTA. To remove yourself from these mailings, please email us at be_a_maverick@uta.edu with a brief request to be removed from these mailings. Please include your email address in the body of the email.
Configuring Your Email Client
We realize that SPAM is a nuisance and that many popular email services like Yahoo and Hotmail configure themselves to automatically block emails that "appear" as SPAM. We will attempt to send our E-Communications to you in the HTML format (looks and functions just like a web page with images, links, etc.). If the initial HTML attempt fails, a plain text version (no color, no images, minimal or no web link functionality) will be sent.
We strongly suggest, if your email provider supports it, to enable receipt of HTML formatted emails from be_a_maverick@uta.edu so that you will receive maximum functionality from our E-Communications.
Setting Up An Additional Email Account
We realize that email accounts can change periodically. We suggest setting up a seperate account for your college information (example: mycollegeinfo@yourdomain.com) so that you don't miss out on any important information.
