UT Arlington’s tuition and fees are among the lowest in the country. In addition, the University offers a variety of funding options for graduate students, both need- and merit-based. These include fellowships, assistantships, work-study opportunities, grants, and loans.

The overall cost of living in Arlington, including housing, food, utilities, and health care, is well below the national average. Texas also lacks state income tax, which benefits those who hold some form of scholarship aid and those who secure full or part-time employment.
