Admissions

MavElite

The MavElite are a group of highly trained students who help recruit prospective students and represent the Office of Undergraduate Recruitment. They provide a view of life at UT Arlington from a student's perspective. These student staff members work in various positions to help prospective students learn about the university. MavElite members work in the Dan Dipert University Welcome Center and the Prospective Student Center in Davis Hall. They greet visitors and answer admissions questions, lead tours, writing student blogs, and making phone calls to prospective students. They also staff recruitment events like Preview Days, Financial Aid Nights, and other events hosted by the Office of Undergraduate Recruitment.

Who are they?

MavElite members come from all over the world, represent many of the majors available at UT Arlington, and are active on campus. MavElite members serve in leadership positions in EXCEL Campus Activities, Student Congress, Greek life, residence life, and many other organizations. Most importantly, they are students who love helping prospective students and their families and sharing why they chose to be Mavericks. MavElite members are an important part of the recruitment team and will be an important part of your admissions process.
