Daily Campus Tours
Visiting campus is one of the best ways to learn about UT Arlington. It gives you a chance not just to experience campus, but the opportunity to see what it would be like to be a student at the University. Daily campus tours are led by MavElite tour guides who are current UT Arlington students. The daily campus tour is approximately a 2 hour walking tour that showcases the University’s campus
UT Arlington offers multiple campus and housing tours every Monday through Friday. On Saturdays, a combination campus tour and housing tour is available.
Campus tours leave from the Dan Dipert University Welcome Center at 9 a.m., 10 a.m., 1 p.m., 2 p.m., and 3 p.m. Daily housing tours also leave from the Dan Dipert University Welcome Center and are offered at 10:30 a.m., 12:30 p.m., and 2:30 p.m. Saturday tours depart at 10:30 a.m. and include a campus tour and a housing tour.
The University may cancel or amend its tour schedule at any time. If you are traveling from out of town, we recommend you pre-register using the orange "Register Now" button or calling the Dan Dipert University Welcome Center at 817-272-8687 for the latest tour availability.
Daily campus tours are not offered on major holidays or when weather conditions become unsafe. Saturday tours are not offered on holiday weekends or on Preview Day weekends. The online registration form always lists the most up-to-date tours, but you can also check our online list of tour availability.
Registering for a Campus Tour
Register for a daily campus tour online or call the Campus Tour Line at 817-272-8687 to reserve your place. Tours are capped at 25 guests per tour. The tour calendar on page 2 of the form lists all available dates and tour times. Our regular tour schedule may be amended based on the time of year and other campus events.
Our tour is a walking tour, so please wear comfortable shoes. Also, please be aware of current weather conditions and dress accordingly, as our tours still take place when the weather is hot, cold, and raining unless conditions become unsafe. Unsafe conditions may include extreme cold or heat, high winds, hail, lightning storms or other weather hazards. For example, tours will not be given if the temperature exceeds 105 degrees (Fahrenheit).
