Daily Campus Tours
Visiting campus is one of the best ways to learn about UT Arlington. It gives you the chance to see the campus in person, learn about academic opportunities, and get a feel for student life in Maverick Country.
UT Arlington offers multiple campus and housing tours Monday through Saturday. All tours begin and end at the Dan Dipert University Welcome Center in the College Park District, and last 1.5-2 hours.
- Campus Tours are scheduled Monday-Friday at 10 a.m., 1 p.m. and 2 p.m., and Saturdays at 11:30 a.m. Campus tours do not include stops at any residence halls or campus apartments.
- Housing Tours begin at 12 p.m. every Monday-Friday. Housing tours will view rooms in Vandergriff Hall, Lipscomb Hall (North), Kalpana Chawla (KC) Hall, and Meadow Run.
- Combination Campus/Housing Tours take place Monday-Friday at 9 a.m., and Saturdays at 10:30 a.m. On weekdays (Monday-Friday), the 9am combination tour makes stops at Vandergriff Hall and Kalpana Chawla (KC) Hall. On Saturdays, the 10:30am combination tour stops at Vandergriff Hall only.
Tours are not offered on major holidays or during some campus events. To check for tour availability, please review our online list, or call the Dan Dipert University Welcome Center at 817-272-8687.
Preparing for Your Tour
In order to receive detailed information regarding your tour, please register at least three days in advance online or over the phone (817-272-8687). Walk-in guests are always welcome, but we recommend calling first to make sure a tour is scheduled at your desired time.
Both campus and housing tours include a lot of walking outside, so please wear comfortable shoes. Also, be aware of current weather conditions and dress accordingly, as our tours still take place when the weather is hot, cold, or raining. However, tours may be cancelled if weather conditions become unsafe. Unsafe conditions include extreme cold or heat, high winds, hail, lightning storms or other weather hazards. For example, tours will not be given if the temperature exceeds 105 degrees (Fahrenheit).
