Daily Campus Tours

Daily campus tours of the campus are conducted by UT Arlington students called MavElite. The daily campus tour is a walking tour and lasts approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes. The tour includes stops inside several academic buildings, a visit to our dining center called Connection Cafe to experience the sights and smells of eating on campus, a visit to the Fine Arts and Architecture galleries, stops in the Maverick Activities Center, the Main Stage Theater, a ride on the Mav Mover Shuttle bus to see our Studio Art Center featuring student art and our award-winning glassblowing studio, and much more. The tour is a walking tour, so please wear comfortable shoes. Also, please be aware of current weather conditions and dress accordingly, as our tours still take place in the rain or cold weather, unless conditions become unsafe.

Daily campus tours depart promptly from the New Student Welcome Center located on the first floor of Davis Hall, Room 123, at 9:00 am, 10:00 am, 1:00 pm, and 2:00 pm every Monday through Friday. Housing tours depart at 11:30 am, 1:00 pm, and 3:30 pm every Monday through Friday. A combination campus tour and housing tour departs at 11:30 am on Saturdays. Daily campus tours are not offered on major holidays. The registration form always lists the most up-to-date tours, but you can also check our online list of tour availabilty. Daily campus tours can also be paired with admissions counselor appointments or academic department appointments.

Summer Twilight Tours

For those of you that prefer a tour as the Texas sun sets, we offer our Summer Twilight Tours. Twilight Tours are a one hour and 15 minute campus walking tour offered on Mondays and Thursdays at 6:30 pm—just enough to get an overview of our beautiful campus and watch the sun go down on Arlington! Since these tours are offered after 5:00 pm, please note that Admission Counselors will not be available to chat with you prior to or following the tour.

Register for a daily campus tour or call the Campus Tour Line at 817-272-8687 to reserve your place. Tours are capped at 25 guests per tour. The form will only allow 25 people to register. The tour calendar on page 2 of the form lists all available dates and tour times. Our regular tour schedule may be amended based on the time of year and other campus events.  The registration form always lists the most up-to-date tours, but you can also check our online list of tour availabilty.

Parking on Campus

Single vehicle visitor parking is available at Davis Hall. Tours begin at Davis Hall. Buses may drop students off along Nedderman Drive by Texas Hall, adjacent to Davis Hall. Buses must be parked in Parking Lot 33.
