The African-American Alumni Event is held every year during Homecoming. African-American alumni come back to campus and help honor the recipients of the Outstanding African-American Award. The 22nd annual banquet was Saturday, March 5 in the Bluebonnet Ballroom of the E.H. Hereford University Center.
