Daniel J. Kauth '84

Daniel Kauth ‘84 is senior business development manager for Haworth in Dallas and Fort Worth. He is a 1984 marketing graduate of the College of Business Administration. In 22 years in the contract furniture industry, he has worked with numerous companies, including Texas Instruments, SBC, Ericsson, i2 Technologies and Baylor Healthcare. Prior to Haworth, he held sales and marketing positions with Kimball Office, Steelcase, Herman Miller, Collins & Aikman and Goldsmiths. He received the UT Arlington Distinguished Alumni Service Award in 1995 and is a past president of the Alumni Association, Maverick Club and Friends of the UT Arlington Libraries.

Daniel is a constant supporter of the University of Texas at Arlington. He has the Daniel Kauth Endowed Scholarship through the UT Arlington Alumni Association and recently established a scholarship for leadership through Student Affairs. Daniel is also responsible for leading the way in the creation of several other scholarships, including the Howard H. Meyers Memorial Endowed Scholarship. Daniel also supports the students of UT Arlington through his avid support for UT Arlington athletics through the Maverick Club. You can spot Daniel at most of the Basketball, Baseball and Volleyball home games.

Daniel most recently sponsored the UT Arlington Alumni Picnic, which allowed for the event to be free and open for all alumni to attend. The event resulted in over 200 people in attendance, the highest to date.
