Dr. Callaghan is an anthropological archaeologist who specializes in the research of complex societies of Mesoamerica. Research interests include ceramic analysis, petrography, craft production and exchange systems, ritual economy, the rise of social complexity, socio-political and economic collapse, and gender in archaeology. |
