advising appointments

Advising appointments can be made by sending an email to to receive a link to the advising calendar.

You can e-mail the undergraduate advisor for general advising questions.


Portfolio reviews are only necessary if transferring from another accredited Architecture or Interior Design program and possible design credit transfer needs to be determined. Students needing a portfolio review should submit a copy of their portfolio (do not send originals) no larger than 11” x 14” to the Architecture office. If mailed, please send self-address/stamped envelope for portfolio to be returned.

During registration and orientation periods advisors are in high demand. Avoid the rush and schedule your appointment in advance.

Current students can email advisors during their advising period for registration clearance at Students new to UTA are required to attend orientation for registration clearance.
