About ISOMUL
The International Studygroup for the Multiple Use of Land was created at the Wageningen Agricultural University of the Netherlands in the late 1970s. Its members are landscape architects, planners, engineers and other ministry and university scientists dedicated to the array of issues surrounding rural landuse planning. Many of ISOMUL's founding members are CELA members, and the two organizations co-sponsored their first conference at UC-Denver in 1990. ISOMUL members have published several research texts through an arrangement with Elsevier, and it is expected that works from the 1998 conference at UT-Arlington will be selected for publication in 1999.
