Registered Architect. Member of the UT Arlington faculty since 1982. Taught previously at Ohio University and served as Chairman, Department of Architecture, 1971-74. Taught at Ohio State University, 1974-82, and at the Catholic University of America as Coördinator of the Summer Session for the Department of Architecture and Planning, 1975-82. Director of the Architecture Program at UT Arlington, 1982-87. In 1996 coördinated the interdisciplinary Johnson Creek Charrette to develop an extensive greenway system for Arlington. Conference coördinator, ACSA Southwest Annual Meeting, 1988. Private and consulting architectural practice since 1971with emphasis on housing. Recipient of the Alpha Rho Chi Award for Teaching Excellence, and the Recognition for Teaching Excellence, both from Ohio State University. Sponsored research includes A Study of High-Density Low-Rise Housing in Japan from the United States Center for Japan/United States Consortium for Environmental Planning and Design Education. Conference presentations on numerous aspects of architectural education. Publications in The Journal of Architectural Education, Process, and The Chicago Architectural Journal.
