UT Arlington students received seven out of twelve awards distributed by the state chapter, which represents schools and landscape architecture programs on the university level across the state of Texas. Students and student teams from UT Arlington received awards in all three major award categories (Design, Residential Design, Analysis & Planning). The winning students represent a wide range of studio classes at UT Arlington.

Honor Awards were given to Nakjune Seong, Geoffrey Hall, and Xiwen Feng. Merit Awards were presented to Xiwen Feng, Zoha Niazi, Yao Lin, and Dandan Zhu. They are students of Taner R. Özdil, Ph.D., ASLA, of UT Arlington's Landscape Architecture Program and Center for Metropolitan Density.
