Biography
Lisa is the author of two books, "The Principles of Interactive Design", 1998 with Delmar Publishers, and "Basics of Design: Layout and Typography", 2001 with Thomson Learning. She was selected to contribute articles about Brand Identity Development and Motion Graphics Design to "The Digital Designer: 101 Graphic Design Projects for Print, the Web, Multimedia, and Motion Graphics", authored by Stephen Pite and published by Onword Press in 2002. Her professional activities and research reflects specialties in advanced interactive design for web, intranet, and multimedia design, as well as a thorough grounding in the underlying principles of design. Her illustrations have appeared in the MIT publications "Computer Music Journal, Leonardo", and "Terra Nova". She has produced graphic designs, illustrations, and informational graphics for clients in the fashion, high-tech, energy, military, and geology industries. Lisa’s areas of specialization are in Visual Communication, Illustration, Information Design, Universal Design, Digital Imaging, and Interactive Design.
