Biography
Jack Plummer has consistently exhibited his artwork in national and regional exhibitions since 1970.
He has had several one-person exhibitions of his work, including: Dispelled Myth:Conquered Fear (2000) and Past, Present, Past (1998) at the Handley-Hicks Gallery in Fort Worth; Glyph Engima at Midwestern State University, Fain Fine Arts Center, in Wichita Falls (1998); Sheltered Source at the Carnegie Arts Center in Leavenworth, Kansas (1997); Recent Work at the Ira Taylor Gallery, Hardin Simmons University (1994).
His work is selected for many group and juried exhibitions including: All Natural, Handley-Hicks Gallery; Bugs, Anchorage Museum of History and Art; Nature Made, Upstate Art, Phoenicia, NY; Texas International at the University of Texas at El Paso; Northern American Works at the Matrix Gallery, Sacramento, California; National Drawing and Small Sculpture Exhibition at Del Mar College, Corpus Christi; Painting and Sculpture Exhibition at Little Rock Art Center; Border to Border at Teacher Gallery, Clarksville, TN.
