Pauline Hudel has 26 years of design, fine art and educational experience. She has held full time design positions as Art Director at Neiman Marcus and Designer at JCPenney. Hudel-Smith recieved a Master of Fine Arts from Texas A & M - Commerce and has held teaching positions at the University of Texas at Dallas, Collin County, and Richland College, as well as a University of North Texas teaching fellowship. Hudel-Smith has also worked on numerous freelance design projects for national and international clients including: Dillards, Neiman Marcus, JCPenney, Ampad, Pinnacle, Vertis Advertising, and Ameriprise Financial. Recent projects include a publication ‘Nabucco’ for the Performance/Art Exhibit at the Dallas Museum of Art, The Dallas Opera ‘Nabucco’ presentations for creators Frances Bagley and Tom Orr, and The Neiman Marcus Christmas Book cover art and product design. In addition, she has exhibited her work in a number of juried, invitational and one person shows including Luguna Gloria Art Museum and the Wichita Museum of Art. She has recently curated exhibits for Milton Glaser, Todd Hart, Jack Unruh and Casey McGarr.
