Corey Gossett, currently pursuing his MFA in Intermedia, received his BFA with a concentration in painting from the University of Texas at Arlington.

Artist Statement

I use found objects, not just for the obvious application of lending importance by imposing a historical reference on a new work; but rather a twofold purpose of indicating a fascination with natural decay and regeneration with my focus being more on the side of the productive result following decay.

My work is meant to remind the viewer that all is well.
