Artist Statement

My strongest connection to humanity is through labor. I require a combination of rigorous physical and intellectual activity to achieve personal fulfillment. In order for me to be comfortable with who I am I must love my profession because my life keeps no separation between business and pleasure. My work is my personal life and my personal life is my work, I never clock-out. The artwork that I make is very much about itself. The content that lies within pertains to the types of labor and materials that compose the piece. My artistic endeavors come from a place that is more inquisitive than opinionated. I do not desire to impose my beliefs upon strangers, so I bury my sentiments in technique and aesthetics in hopes that they may be felt but not deciphered.
