Student Bio

Matt Heller is an artist / designer originating from South Dakota, USA. While a part of the visual communication area, Matt tries to experiment and learn in as many different areas of media as possible, most recently focusing on print, video, and installation work. He enjoys buffalo wings and music of all kinds.

Artist Statement

My creative research deals with issues of my own personal identity within an American consumerist pop culture society. I work in a variety of contexts within art and design, but also try to create objects and experiences that are accessible to a larger audience. Duality or conflicting concepts are also important aspects of the work I create.
