Donjuan, Huerta and Ortiz to Exhibit Work at Longview Museum of Fine Arts
Three educators from UT Arlington’s Department of Art & Art History have been selected to exhibit in a group exhibition titled Tejano: Contemporary Latin American Artists of Texas at the Longview Museum of Art. The exhibition features the work of prominent regional artists of Latino heritage: Carlos Donjuan, lecturer, Benito Huerta, professor and Andrew Ortiz, associate professor were chosen from a statewide call for artists by exhibition organizer, John Hillier. Each artist will be exhibiting several works in the show, which runs from September 14 – October 26. An opening reception takes place on Saturday, September 14 from 7-9 pm.
