The organization of visual communicators
The OVC (Organization for Visual Communicators) is an group for students currently enrolled at UT Arlington who are involved in and/or interested in graphic design, advertising, and anything that contributes to the design industry.
We currently meet about 2 times a month, have design contests, and use our group as an open forum to discuss our work, our peers’ work, and current design across the globe. Over the next few semesters, we plan to extend our concentration and efforts beyond the walls of the university by getting involved in community outreach.
Forum.theovc.org
This is an open forum where anyone can join to be a part of a design community. Active members share positive criticism about school work, freelance jobs, and design in general. The OVC forum is also a great resource for potential employers, as anyone can post on our job section of the forum to seek out potential designers or interns for their business. Our hope is provide an open portal between not only design students, but the outside design community as well. Feel free to stop by and join in on the discussion!
