DRAWING FUNDAMENTALS 3 hours ART 1307
DIGITAL DESIGN 3 hours ART 2304 (or 1304)
2D 3 hours student choice of intro level 2D offerings
3D 3 hours student choice of intro level 3D offerings
MEDIA 3 hours student choice of intro level MEDIA offerings
ART HISTORY (survey part 1) 3 hours ART 1309
ART HISTORY (survey part 2) 3 hours ART 1310
ADVANCED ART HISTORY 6 hours (3000,4000 level)  see catalog for restrictions

 

Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) in art

Concentration - 39 hours - at least 36 hours must be 3000 or 4000 level

Art certification requires completion of certain courses. These will be listen on official degree plan.

PROFESSIONAL PRACTICES 2 hours ART 4200 (or ART 4356 for Graphics majors)
BFA SENIOR EXHIBITION 1 hour ART 4100 (taken in last full semester before graduation)

Must include enough ADVANCED ART hours to equal 39 hours in the concentration and 128 total hours for graduation

Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Art

Advanced Art History - Additional 3 hours at 3000 or 4000 level

Concentration - 21 hours - must be 3000 or 4000 level

Minor - Advisor Aproved - 18 hours - 6 must be 3000 or 4000 level

Total hours must equal 128 for graduation.
