The Microbiology Group consists of the Dr. T.H. Chrzanowski (microbial ecology), Dr. B. Frye (mycology), Dr. J. Grover (phycology, algal ecology), Dr. Michael R. Roner (virology), Dr. Maeli Melotto, and Dr. Jorge Rodrigues labs.

The University of Texas at Arlington offers a sequence of courses leading to the Bachelor's Degree in Microbiology. The program in Microbiology is housed within the Department of Biology and is taught by faculty whose research interests cover a wide variety of topics in the field.
