Blackboard Instant Messaging (Blackboard IM) enables registered users to instantly connect with students and colleagues by working with Blackboard to automatically populate a list of that user's courses and students. Beyond regular chat tools, you may also use the whiteboard for demonstrations, hold office hours, ask a student a question, video chat with students or colleagues, and much more.
