Creating E-mail Rules in Outlook

In your Blackboard courses, you can send e-mail messages to other course members’ external, UTA e-mail addresses. All emails sent to you from Blackboard will go to your UTA e-mail (typically Outlook). If you would like to keep your course e-mails separate from your regular e-mails that come to your Inbox, you can set up an E-mail Rule. An E-mail Rule can automatically sort Blackboard e-mails into a particular folder.

Uploading Test/Quiz Questions into Blackboard

Creating questions outside of Blackboard has some advantages over developing questions within Blackboard: ability to use Excel and Word to spell check, ability to see all information on one page, and ability to use existing question banks (if in the correct format). In order to upload questions effectively, you must follow very specific rules. Read California Polytechnic University's Tips & Tricks documentation on uploading questions into Blackboard.
