Log In to Blackboard

Logging In to Blackboard

Go to elearn.uta.edu and log in with your NetID and password.

Trouble Logging In to Blackboard?

If you cannot log in to Blackboard at elearn.uta.edu, you may not yet have activated your NetID and changed your password, or your password may have expired. Use the NetID Self Service website to active your NetID.

If you have trouble activating your account, or are still not able to get past the login screen, there may be an issue with your account. Contact the Office of Information Technology Help Desk.

New Employees

Blackboard is populated by MyMav course assignments and enrollments. The following items must be completed before a faculty or staff NetID will be active and assignments can take effect in Blackboard:

Appointment in DEFINE by Department Request for employee NetID by Department Activation of NetID by employee Verification of valid e-mail address on file in MyMav by employee Instructor Assigned to Course Sections in MyMav by Department

Data Flow into Blackboard

Data moves through each system in the following order:

Step 1: DEFINE Step 2: MyMav Step 3: Blackboard  

Each component must be completed in each system before it can move onto the next.

My Course is Not Showing

If you are able to log in to Blackboard, but do not see your course:

  1. Make sure that you are officially assigned to the course within MyMav.
  2. See additional MyMav Policies information.
