Dr. Jacqualyn A. Fouse was promoted to president, Global Hematology and Oncology at Celgene in August 2014. She was most recently executive vice president and chief financial officer of the global biopharmaceutical company headquartered in New Jersey. Fouse joined Celgene as senior vice president and chief financial officer in September 2010.

She previously served as chief financial officer for Bunge Ltd., an NYSE-listed, leading global agribusiness and food company. Prior to that, Fouse served as senior vice president, chief financial officer and corporate strategy at Alcon Laboratories, Inc. Prior to Alcon, she was chief financial officer of the Swissair Group in Switzerland from 2001-02, and she was group treasurer of Nestlé S.A. in Switzerland from 1999-2001. Fouse previously held various senior level financial positions in both the U.S. and Switzerland with both Alcon and Nestlé from 1986-99. She also held positions with LTV Aerospace and Defense and Celanese Chemical Company from 1983-86.

Fouse serves on the board of directors of Dick's Sporting Goods and is a member of the board of directors for Perrigo. She received B.A. and M.A. degrees in economics and a Ph.D. in finance, all from The University of Texas at Arlington. As an undergraduate student at UT Arlington, she was inducted to the Beta Gamma Sigma honor society for AACSB-accredited schools. She serves on the UT Arlington Development Board and served on the College of Business Advisory Council at UT Arlington from 2003-13. Additionally, she serves on the Texas Christian University Advisory Board. She is active with several other professional and non-profit organizations as well.

In 2009, Fouse established the Goolsby – J.A. Fouse Endowed Chair in the UT Arlington College of Business, currently held by Dr. James Campbell Quick. Also in 2009, she established an endowed scholarship in the Goolsby Leadership Academy to assist with student scholarships, and has given substantially toward the establishment of the Himarios Endowed Chair. UT Arlington counts Fouse among its Distinguished Alumni, an award the University bestowed upon her in 2004.
