Business Week 2010 Executive Dinner to Feature Lockheed Martin CFO Bruce Tanner

February 25, 2010 - Tickets and table sponsorships for the Tuesday, April 13, Business Week Executive Dinner are on sale now. The Executive Dinner keynote speaker is Bruce Tanner (MBA '90), Chief Financial Officer for Lockheed Martin Corporation.
Table sponsorships are $500; individual tickets are $45; and UT Arlington alumni, students and staff can purchase individual tickets at a special rate of $35.
Co-hosted by the Arlington Chamber of Commerce and the College of Business, Business Week 2010 is April 12-16, Business Week is a tradition for the College of Business, a full week during the spring semester in which 20-30 executives visit the campus to interact with undergraduate and graduate business classes.
The Executive Dinner with Bruce Tanner will be the highlight of Business Week 2010. Mr. Tanner was appointed to Lockheed Martin's top financial position since September 2007. He has served in a number of executive positions with the company since 1982. Mr. Tanner received a BBA in Finance from the University of Michigan in 1981 and an MBA in Finance from the University of Texas at Arlington in 1990.
The theme for Business Week 2010 is "Innovations Transforming Business in North Texas and Beyond". Guest speakers will provide students insight into how innovations in the marketplace might change the way we do business across key industries. More specifically, there will be a focus on the business case for nanotechnology and its applications in various product and service markets, including transportation and logistics, construction, medicine and health care, energy, and sports and entertainment.
