UTA College of Business Announces Promotions, Changes, New Hires for 2014

Promotions Effective Sept. 1, 2014:

  • Sridhar Nerur, Associate Professor of Information Systems is promoted to full Professor.
  • Chandra Subramaniam, Associate Professor/Department Chair of accounting is promoted to full Professor.
  • Terrance Skantz, Associate Professor of accounting is granted tenure.
  • John Repsis, Senior Lecturer of accounting is the Director of the Accounting Graduate Program.

Change in position:

  • Melanie McGee moved from Director of MBA Programs to Director of Corporate Relations in the college.

Newly hired:

  • Kay-Yut Chen, newly hired as full Professor of information systems and operations management effective fall 2014.
  • Siram Villupuram, newly hired as untenured Associate Professor of finance and real estate effective fall 2014.
  • Nandu Nagarajan, newly hired as full Professor of accounting with an endowed Professorship effective fall 2014.
  • Raghu Venugopalan, newly hired as untenured Associate Professor of accounting effective fall 2014.
  • John Laudenslager, newly hired as Executive MBA Recruiter for the college.
  • Jeffrey Wallman, newly hired as Clinical Assistant Professor of marketing effective fall 2014.
  • Todd Gabel, newly hired as full-time non-tenure-track faculty effective fall 2014.
  • Malcolm Kass, newly hired as full-time non-tenure-track faculty effective fall 2014.
  • Mike Whittenberg, newly hired as full-time non-tenure-track faculty effective fall 2014.
