MBA Admission Requirements

The admissions requirements to our Flexible MBA, Cohort MBA, and Online MBA programs are competitive and thorough. The Graduate Studies Committee conducts a holistic review of each application to select the best possible candidates for each program.


Unconditional Admission (36 Hour MBA)

To be eligible for unconditional admission, applicants must have successfully completed a four-year U.S. baccalaureate degree or internationally recognized equivalent in a business discipline, earned a grade point average of at least 3.0 in the last 60 hours of undergraduate coursework (24 hours for students with previous graduate coursework), and taken the GMAT or GRE with a minimum total score of 500 (GMAT) with individual scores in the 30th percentile on both the Verbal and Quantitative sections (GMAT and GRE).


Probationary Admission (48 Hour MBA)

Applicants who have successfully completed a four-year U.S. baccalaureate degree or internationally recognized equivalent with a grade point average of at least 3.0 in a business or non-business discipline can be eligible for probationary admission without the need to take the GMAT or GRE. Applicants admitted under these conditions will take 12 hours of Foundation Pathway courses to begin their MBA program.

Applicants who have successfully completed a four-year U.S. baccalaureate degree or internationally recognized equivalent with a grade point average of less than 3.0 in a business or non-business discipline must take the GMAT or GRE and meet minimum score requirements in order to be eligible for probationary admission. Applicants admitted under these conditions will take 12 hours of Foundation Pathway courses to begin their MBA program.



* TOEFL/IELTS Requirements: Applicants whose native language is not English and have completed a 4-year baccalaureate degree outside of the U.S. must meet TOEFL/IELTS minimum score requirements to be eligible for admission.
