Online MBA Graduation Procedures

Although you will take courses from all of the participating universities, upon successful completion of the program, UT Arlington will award the degree. Both the title of the degree on the diploma and the student transcript will designate that the program is the "Online Master of Business Administration" degree.

Degrees are awarded at the end of the fall semester (December), spring semester (May) and summer session (August). Formal commencement ceremonies are held within the College of Business Administration in the fall and spring. While you may decide whether or not you would like to participate in the commencement (graduation ceremonies), at the beginning of your final semester, you must apply for graduation.

The UT Arlington Graduate Business Services Office will mail you important information concerning graduation approximately eight weeks prior to graduation. If you are planning to graduate and do not receive the graduation mailing, please send an e-mail to mbaonline@uta.edu to request graduation material.
