Brazos House will be closed for the 2013 Summer Camp Season
With rich Texas History this uniquely quaint community is a huge hit with our students. As the smallest of the five residence halls, housing 96 residents, Brazos (originally designed as an army barrack) is the second oldest building on campus, constructed in 1936. Brazos was the very first residence hall in the state of Texas to offer co-educational living. Brazos is conveniently located directly south of the E.H. Hereford University Center, which contains the Connection Café, The Plaza Food Court, and our Bowling and Billiards hall.

Room and Ramp Features
Brazos is organized vertically rather than horizontally. There are four vertically ascending ramps (A, B, C & D). Each ramp is comprised of four small floors, with just two sets of rooms, adjoined by a bathroom, on each floor. The furniture in Brazos is moveable and can be rearranged.
