Purpose
The UTA Police Department places a high priority on crime prevention. While it is impossible to prevent all crime, the Department believes that persons can be made aware of ways to reduce their chances of becoming victims. The Department provides a wide range of services and educational programs designed to promote campus security and that aid in anticipating and minimizing potential dangers to the population and property of the University.
