Welcome! The Department of Campus Recreation is the largest student employer on campus supplying over 200 student jobs annually. We are continually looking for qualified team members to join our student staff. Employment opportunities are available in a variety of positions that offer great pay and valuable work experience in fun and flexible work environment. Campus Recreation has developed a competitive hiring process designed to select the best staff to join our team. Hiring Process

Campus Recreation hires student team members during the fall and spring semesters. The following steps must be completed to obtain a position with the department:

  1. Attend one of the mandatory Recruitment Sessions listed below. Applicants that have not attended a recruitment session during will be removed from consideration for that hiring season. Recruitment sessions will last approximately one hour, and no entry is allowed after the session begins.

  2. Complete an Online Application by visiting Snap Jobs at Position postings are active the week before and the week after the recruitment sessions. Closing dates will be announced at the recruitment sessions.

  3. Only complete applications and those who have attended a recruitment session will be considered. Qualified candidates will be selected and contacted via email for interviews. 

  4. New hires must complete the university's Human Resources on-boarding process, and any area specific required training, before beginning work. CPR/AED certification is also required within six weeks of hire. The department will provide free training for this requirement.

  5. Please do not contact the department directly regarding employment. All questions will be answered during our Recruitment Sessions and further instructions for applicants will be provided at that time.

All sessions will be held in the Lone Star Auditorium starting @ 6 PM.
