Fitness Instructor Training (FIT)
Interested in teaching Group Exercise classes at the MAC? If you have ever thought about becoming a Group Exercise Instructor, Fitness Instructor Training is for you!
This eight-week program is designed to provide you with the information and practice needed to lead a group exercise class.
We will cover areas of health and fitness including anatomy, physiology and kinesiology as well as practical information over cueing, music and choreography. Classes will cover all you need to know to teach a safe, effective and fun fitness class with plenty of practice.
Class is limited to 15 participants. No previous experience necessary. This is a workshop with a lot of practical experience; it is not a certification.
