CTEDD transportation center featured in The Shorthorn
September 28, 2017
An article in The Shorthorn highlights the Center for Transportation, Equity, Decisions and Dollars (CTEDD), which has approved its first set of research projects. The projects are in various disciplines, ranging from civil engineering to urban planning, all related to transportation. The center is funded by the U.S. Department of Transportation and has four partner universities. Faculty or staff members at any of the member universities can present proposals to a peer review committee, which will receive feedback from third-party reviewers and then choose on projects to fund. At UTA, graduate students employed at the center work on funded research proposals with staff. Transportation-related fellowships, competitions and scholarship opportunities will be facilitated by the center as well.
