Downtown Dallas Walkability Assessment
This study identifies for an area within the Downtown Dallas PID with street segments that experience higher and lower pedestrian activity and identifies qualities that make one street more inviting and walkable than another. The project will consist of two separate but complementary phases: Phase I will involve segment-by-segment pedestrian counts and photo documentation, and Phase II will consist of a block-by-block evaluation of built environment characteristics. Data from the two phases will be analyzed and presented in a combined final report and dataset.
