The American Association for Higher Education Series on Service-Learning in the Disciplines.

AAHE is a national membership organization dedicated to improving the quality of higher education in America. Its members include higher education faculty, administration and students, as well as foundation leaders and policymakers the government, media and business sectors. The organization provides its members with conferences, publications, projects and practical tools designed to facilitate the improvement process.

AAHE’s series on Service-Learning in the Disciplines is a set of eighteen monographs, each focusing on why and how service-learning can be implemented within a particular discipline. The discussions presented in the Series are written by scholars in the discipline and are supported by research, course models, annotated bibliographies and program descriptions. Each volume includes both theoretical and pedagogical essays and cover a wide range of interests and approaches. Also included in each volume is an overview of AAHE and the Series, as well as Series pricing and ordering information.
