A new CEE laboratory building has been approved and being designed. The 25,000 gross sq. ft. facility will be located in the west campus just south of the Maverick Stadium. The $9.8 million building will house new research labs in asphalt/pavement, construction engineering and geomechanics/ geoenvironmental areas. more

The Center for Underground Infrastructure Research and Education (CUIRE) at the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering obtained a National Science Foundation (NSF) grant to organize a workshop entitled “Trenchless Technology and Critical Underground Infrastructure Issues,” at the China University of Geosciences in Wuhan (CUG -Wuhan). more
