The first meeting of the newly formed Fort Worth chapter of the Transportation & Development Institute (T&DI) was held at UTA on Tuesday, 1 March 2011, at 6 pm in the Rady Room. The speakers were Dr. Sia Ardekani, Dr. Steve Mattingly, and Dr. Jim Williams, all of UTA, who spoke on three research projects, either on-going or recently completed. T&DI is an institute of the American Society of Civil Engineers, and Dr. Williams is the vice president of the Fort Worth Chapter.
