Drs. Puppala and Hoyos's Research Groups Make Nine Presentations at Geofrontiers 2011, Dallas

UTA Geotechnical Group with Prof. Jean-Louis Briaud, President of ISSMGE

Dr. Anand Puppala and Dr. Laureano Hoyos research groups have participated at the annual ASCE-GI conference, Geo-Frontiers - 2011 in Dallas during March 13-16 and the research team has presented nine different papers in seven different technical sessions. All nine papers are published in ASCE GSP proceedings. Dr. Bhaskar Chittoori, Post-Doctoral Fellow; Dr. Sireesh Saride, Former Post-Doctoral Fellow; Thornchaya Wejringiskul, Naga S. Talluri, Claudia Velosa and Aravind Pedarla - current doctoral students also made the presentations. Several other graduate students and colleagues from University of Texas at El Paso and Southeast University, Nanjing, China are the contributing authors of these papers. All papers are peer reviewed and published in the ASCE-GI conference proceedings.

In addition, Dr. Hoyos chaired two technical sessions and Dr. Puppala chaired two other technical sessions.
