The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) has awarded a two-year $538,304 grant to Dr. Sahadat Hossain to implement new slope stabilization methods for the Dallas District. The project will be starting from September 2011 and will continue until August 2013. After successfully implementing the slope stabilization using Recycled Plastic Pins (RPP) at US 287, the same slope stabilization methods will be utilized at two more sites at varying soil content and different locations around the Dallas District.
