Five promising CE undergraduate students were awarded the inaugural COE UROP awards in spring 2012. The students, Pinki Bhandari, Anup Gajurel, Samer Ghanma, Subash Gautam and Ruth Bribiesca, were selected competitively based on their achievements and research plan. Each received a $2500 scholarship that may be used for research work and travel. Information on the research of each student is presented here.
