Ashley Wilson, a graduate student in Structural Engineering, has joined Hanson Pipe & Precast Engineering Headquarters. Ashley joined UT Arlington Civil Engineering in 2010 and has been working on her research with Dr. Ali Abolmaali in the area steel and synthetic fiber concrete with applications to precast structures. Ashley is a co-author of a journal article published in Transportation Research Record. In her new position with Hanson, Ashley will be responsible for finite element analysis and design of precast structures including but not limited to circular culverts, box culverts, precast bridge segments, three sided structures, and other standard and special-design structures.
