Civil Engineering Department had two faculty members who were honored with University awards this year. Professor Sia Ardekani was recognized with a President's Award for Excellence in Teaching, and Professor Anand Puppala received the Distinguished Record of Research or Creative Activity Award at the Spring Faculty and Associates Meeting April 22. We congratulate Sia and Anand for these major recognitions based on their stellar records and preeminent accomplishments.
