    Featured Instructor: Stan Demke
    Stan Demke has been teaching courses for the CNC Programming Certificate Program at UT Arlington for over a year! He relocated to Texas in 2004 from Canada where the machinist trade is very much alive. In Canada a machinist apprentice attends school for a few months a year for 4 years to learn the trade. After 8500 hours were logged on the job, Stan graduated to become a Journeyman Machinist. From 1999 to 2004 Stan worked at Red River College as a Machinist Instructor, teaching apprentice machinists the machinist trade as well as CNC programming and related classes. Stan currently works as an Applications Manager, training and supporting the purchase of new CNC equipment.
