Certified Safety and Health Official

Requires six (6) core OSHA courses and two (2) elective courses

  • Nationally recognized professional safety and health certification.
  • Transfer up to six (6) required courses from any OSHA Training Institute Education Center.
  • Candidates can choose from General Industry or Construction Industry Career Certification Tracks.
  • Courses can be applied toward advanced level certifications (SHEP and MC).

The Region VI OSHA Education Center and Northwest Arkansas Community College (NWACC) are pleased to present to all safety professionals the opportunity to earn a college degree.  Upon successful completion of the CSHO you can receive 18 academic credit hours.
