$111.50 ($100 purchase price + $3 processing fee + $8.50 sales tax). Tk20 is purchased through our Tk20 portal (https://tk20web.uta.edu).
Your instructors will make it clear when an assignment is due in Tk20, so you’ll want to purchase and verify your access before your due date. If you are applying for field experience you’ll need to have purchased Tk20 in order to submit your Office of Field Experience application. Field Experience will give you more details and instructions as they become available.
Please remember that it can take up to three business days for your subscription to become active. Also, you will want time to get familiar with the system, verify you are seeing the correct assignments or forms, and have enough time to comfortably submit your work by the due date.
How do I purchase Tk20?
Go to https://tk20web.uta.edu, and under the Username and Password boxes, there is link, "Click here to purchase your student account." This will take you to the payment gateway.
No. Tk20 is a one-time only, non-refundable subscription that is good for seven years. This means your one-time Tk20 purchase will “be good” for the duration of your time in our program, provided you finish your course of study within seven years from the date you purchased your Tk20 subscription. You do not need to purchase Tk20 for every course or every semester.
Use your web browser to go to https://tk20web.uta.edu. If you have purchased an account, and it is active, you can log in to Tk20 using your UTA NetID and password.
Why can't I log in?
Use your NetID and current password to log in to the UTA Tk20 system. Tk20 uses the UTA NetID system. This login and password is exactly the same as the login and password that you use for MyMav and Blackboard. If you have issues with your NetID, you can use NetID self-service to check or reset your UTA NetID password. NetID Self-Service can be accessed by clicking here.

The applicant account is a free account used by prospective students to create and submit an application to our College, and this is its only purpose. The applicant account is not linked to your student identity here at UT Arlington; instead you create it at the time that you apply for admission to our College and its use is limited to Tk20 admissions applications. After you begin your COEd coursework, you will need to purchase your regular account to have access to any coursework or forms that are to be submitted in Tk20; see the other entries on this FAQ for more information.

If you need to contact UTA Tk20 support with technical issues, please be detailed and specific about the problem you are encountering. Any details about your computer configuration that you can share (PC or Mac? What web browser?) are also very helpful.
Tk20 will be the place where you submit certain key performance artifacts and build your academic performance portfolio. Tk20 also serves as the centralized location for submitting forms and is the hub for field placements. Tk20 will help ensure continuous quality of programs and preparation, which will result in a better experience for you, the student, and increase the value of the degrees and certifications you complete here.
To initiate a refund request, please email us at Tk20@uta.edu. In your email:
- Please include a confirmation that your UTA Tk20 account is completely unused. Any submission of assignments, applications, class or field materials, or any other use of the UT Arlington Tk20 system will make you ineligible for a refund.
- Please include a confirmation that it has been less than six months since your purchase date.
- You must include your ten digit UTA student ID number in your refund request.
Although providing this information does not guarantee a refund, it will allow for more expedient processing of your request. Tk20 Inc. makes the final determination concerning refund eligibility.
For refunds granted between 0 and 30 days after purchase: 100% refund.
For refunds granted between 31 days and six months after purchase: 50% refund.
No refunds will be granted after six months after purchase under any circumstances.
No. Blackboard is still the usual way you will submit assignments to your instructor, should they use an online system to collect assignments. The only assignments we will be collecting in Tk20 are certain key performance artifacts. Your instructors will inform you when an assignment is a key performance artifact and must be submitted in Tk20.
No. MyMav is still the official system of record for the University of Texas at Arlington. Tk20 is a separate College of Education and Health Professions system for data collection and assessment. Your official University records are in and will remain in MyMav.
