Master’s non-thesis degree coursework provides practicing teachers with opportunities to enhance their practice through exposure to varying effective models of instruction and assessment. Research is emphasized in all courses and students have the opportunity to design, conduct, and present their own research projects. Teacher and school counselor certification coursework prepares graduate students to become effective classroom teachers and school counselors through learning the basics of child and adolescent development, instructional design and classroom management, diversity, and a student teaching or internship experience.
